Anna Maria Buda was born in 1992 in Cracow. Since 2008 studied with professor Mieczysław Szlezer at the Academy of Music in Cracow where she finished her master’s degree in 2016. She performed as a soloist with orchestra under the direction of Stanisław Krawczyński, Kazimierz Kryza and Monika Bachowska, Damiano Giuranna. Winner of the Multiinstrumental Competition in Cracow ( Poland, 2002). Laureate of the XXII International Violin Competition in Citta' di Barletta (Italy, 2012) : 2nd and 3rd prize, finalist of the First Violin Competition ' Young Virtuoso' (Poland, 2013) and Malta International Violin Competition (2014). In 2015 she was invited as a soloist to play during the Festival “Les Jeunes Virtuoses” in Tunis. Since 2011 scholar of World Youth Orchestra with whom she played in Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, Germany. Since 2013 member of the Lusławice Academy's Orchestra ( The European Krzysztof Penderecki Center for Music in Lusławice). In 2013/2014 member of Lutosławski Moderni Orchestra ( Festival “Warsaw Autumn”). In 2014 scholar of Die Internationale Junge Orchesterakademie ( Osterfestival in Bayreuth). Since 2015 member of Santander Orchestra of maestro Krzysztof Penderecki. In 2016 and 2019 scholar of Miami Music Festival where she cooperated with Wagner Institute. In 2017 scholar of Pacific Music Festival Academy in Japan with Wiener Philharmoniker. In 2018 member of Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. In 2018 member of Summer Music Academy with the Scharoun Ensemble Der Berliner Philharmoniker. In 2019 on the invitation of Sharoun Ensemble Der Berliner Philharmoniker she played during lunch concert at the Berliner Philharmoniker as a leader of two chamber ensembles. In 2019 member of Szczecin Classic Academy. She was also concertmaster of Symphony Orchestra at the Academy of Music in Cracow. Anna Buda mastered her skills during the masterclasses with Tadeusz Gadzina, Michał Grabarczyk, Vadim Brodski, Krzysztof Jakowicz, Krzysztof Węgrzyn, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Michael Stricharz, Igor Petrushevsky, Levon Ambarstumian, Mikhail Kopelman, Gary Levinson, Andres Cardenes, Natalia Prischepenko, Friedemann Eichhorn, Larry Rachleff, Krzysztof Penderecki, Sir Neville Marriner, Natalia Prischepenko, Rainer Küchl, Daniel Froschauer, Jun Märkl, Valery Gergiev, Wolfram Brandl, Bartłomiej Nizioł, VascoVassilev. She cooperates with orchestras such as Cracow Chamber Orchestra, Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Corda Cracovia, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Polish Art Philharmonic, Dolnośląska Philharmonic, Baltic Neopolis. Since 2017 member of Bass Astral x Igo Orchestra with whom she played during one of the biggest Music Festivals in Europe- Opener Festival (2018). Privately she loves nature, all kind of arts, travelling and japanese& italian food !
